Thank you to everyone who submitted recipes to the 2010 Residents' Rights Week Cookbook - we received more than 450 recipes!
Each year Residents' Rights Week honors residents living in all long-term care facilities, including nursing homes, sub acute units, assisted living, board and care and retirement communities; it is a time for recognition and awareness of dignity, respect and the value of each individual resident. This year's Residents' Rights Week is October 3-9.
As part of this year's theme "Defining Dining... It's About Me," the Consumer Voice is selling professionally printed cookbooks that feature favorite recipes from residents from across the country as well as recipes from ombudsmen, family members, citizen advocates, staff and more. Proceeds from the sale of cookbooks will advance Consumer Voice's advocacy and programming for all long-term care consumers.
Cookbooks are $15.00/each (price includes shipping). All Consumer Voice members will receive a 10% discount on their orders. Download the order form.
All orders will be shipped within two business of being received. Orders placed by September 24 will be shipped in time for Residents' Rights Week. Cookbooks will also be available for purchase during the Consumer Voice Annual Meeting and Conference, October 19-22, in Orlando, Florida.
